Trejo’s Tacos 

In honor of World Vegan Month, Hollywood’s favorite bad boy Danny Trejo and his restaurants, Trejo’s Tacos, are teaming up with beloved plant-based chef Jocelyn Ramirez and her women-owned POC small business Todo Verde. The duo will serve a limited-time dish to celebrate and bring awareness to the abundant plant-based lifestyle inspired by Mexican and South American cooking. Starting November 10 through the end of the month, guests can order Chef Jocelyn’s Jackfruit Tinga in either a mouthwatering Trejo’s taco or burrito.

Say hello to the ultra-colorful, plant-based burger of your dreams…Flower Burger! The Italian-based brand recently opened up its first brick-and-mortar location in the heart of West Hollywood on Robertson Boulevard, serving Instagram-worthy burgers utilizing 100% natural and vegan ingredients. The Jungle Burger features an oat and red bean patty along with oven-baked zucchini and a green bun colored with spirulina powder and turmeric. The Classic Chickpea and Spicy Chickpea feature chickpea patties with turmeric-colored yellow buns, and the Tangy Chickpea includes a chickpea patty with a Tartarella Sauce flavored with capers and pickles. The Cherry Bomb features a lentil-based patty with a pink bun, colored with cherry and beetroot extract, and the signature Flower Burger includes a red kidney bean patty and violet bun colored with purple carrot extract.

The menu at Tacos AF focuses on LA’s favorite quick eats that are full of flavor and spice. On the menu you will find favorites that feature local vendors such as meats from Los Compadres Carniceria, and traditional stone-ground handmade tortillas from LA Chapalita. If you are looking for a plant-based taco fix, Tacos AF has a vegan friendly Mushroom Taco topped with their house-made salsa verde, cilantro and onion.
